). DESCRIPTION Decypher is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist to support Wright Patterson AFB, OH. RESPONSIBILITIES Operates, calibrates, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes specialized equipment to evaluate cardiopulmonary functions and cardiopulmonary physiology Performs pulmonary function test to include but not limited to spirometry, oxygen dilution, and lung volumes Under orders of a physician, administers respiratory care to include but not limited to oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, mechanical ventilator management, and preparation and administration of respiratory medications Assists critical care physicians with invasive procedures to include but not limited to: intubation, extubation, chest tube placement, arterial placement, and thoracentesis Draws and analyzes arterial blood gas samples Determines disposable supply inventory level; stocks accordingly, restock excess supplies, and report to replenishment requirements to department's supply custodian Attend/conduct meetings and training regarding respiratory therapy QUALIFICATIONS Associates Degree Licensed Respiratory Therapist 1-year experience performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to care for and treat pulmonary laboratory patients.
