ICF Senior Systems Analyst in Reston, Virginia

Description

ICF is looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to support an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) project on the FDIC Strategy and Business Solutions Support Contract. In this role you will play a vital role in bringing the technical vision of replacing the existing EPM solution to life. If you are looking for an opportunity to help a government client make inform and direct IT investment decisions, then this is the job for you. This position will work remotely for a Federal client in Arlington, VA.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Evaluating the existing EPM solution to determine the business needs.

  • Working with the project team to provide analysis and design for the replacement of the existing EPM solution.

  • Serving as the EPM planning and analysis Lead Architect providing strategic technology advice and technical leadership to business and technical clients.

  • Reading and interpreting PeopleSoft Application Engines, PeopleCode, Structured Query Reporter (SQR) programs, and Structured Query Language (SQL) statements.

  • Interpreting and developing business models, system models, use cases, and sequence diagrams.

  • Reviewing IT architectures, business processes, and technology innovation.

  • Researching emerging technologies, processes, and best practices and serving as technical liaison for vendors.

  • Creating technical architecture specifications, class diagrams, and object models.

  • Suggesting an end to end solution architecture design for the proposed EPM solution and ensuring all components of the solution integrate together are in compliance with FDIC’s security, policies, and procedures.

  • Ensuring data integrity of proposed solution(s) by evaluating and recommending appropriate software and hardware solutions for a new EPM solution.

What you will need:

  • 8+ years of work experience with progressively increasing responsibilities and advanced knowledge of technologies relevant to the engagement.

  • US Citizenship (required by Federal Government).

  • The ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust, which involves a thorough background and financial investigation.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Extensive Oracle knowledge.

  • Extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft and Oracle data stores.

  • Extensive experience using and/or advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft, PeopleSoft PeopleTools, and PeopleSoft Application Designer.

  • Experience with and/or advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft Application Engines, PeopleCode, SQR programs, and SQL statements.

  • Extensive experience with PeopleSoft Tree Manager (tree hierarchies), Open Period Maintenance, and Chartfield configuration.

  • Knowledge and experience building data marts using Oracle SQL.

  • Experience with and knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems.

  • Extensive experience with DevSecOps.

  • Experience providing solution architecture on similar projects of comparable/greater size and scope, using a variety of technologies and frameworks.

  • Experience designing Enterprise Architecture tenets.

  • Experience defining and enforcing application and data security.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • Federal Government work experience.

  • Strong knowledge of various technologies, platforms, and architectural platforms.

  • Experience applying Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts including RESTful and SOAP-based services.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communications, collaboration skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in analytics, project planning, and negotiating.

  • Ability to independently identify and learn applicable new techniques.

  • Knowledge in Accounting, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.

  • Ability to identify problems and use sound judgement to generate and evaluate alternatives to make recommendations.

  • May have experience applying object-oriented programming and design approaches, and patterns-based design and development.

  • Ability to thoroughly pay attention to details when performing and reviewing work.

  • Ability to work with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, and satisfy their expectations.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$112,513.00 - $191,273.00
