The City of Radford is looking for a PT Kennel Attendant. The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties in the Animal Control Facility mainly during weekend daylight and holiday hours. The Kennel Attendant will be responsible for feeding the animals, and stocking animal supplies, removing litter and uneaten food, cleaning and disinfecting the areas as needed. The Attendant may also be required to transport animals to a separate area, then carry out specialized bathing, grooming and exercise routines; will also assist the public with meeting animals for adoption and recording and filing completed paper work as required by the Animal Control Officer. Successful completion of pre-employment testing and background screening is a must.
