Education:

Minimum : Graduate from an accredited Registered Professional Nurse Program.

Preferred : Bachelors of Science in Nursing.

License/Certifications: Current NYS License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse; BLS certification and CPI training obtained within 90 days of hire. ACLS and Basic Coronary Care certifications obtained within 6 months of hire.

Experience:

Minimum : Analytical skills to assess, prepare, implement and evaluate the outcomes of the plan of care patients and families

Preferred : One to two years of successful performance as an RN in an Acute care setting.

Other:

Minimum : Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills. Computer literacy.

Preferred : Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical record.

Salary Range: $38.37-$43.45
