Gastroenterologist Opportunity –Norwalk Hospital– Norwalk, Connecticut (50 miles from New York City)

Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time General Gastroenterologist n Norwalk, Connecticut. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long established teaching program that is growing and expanding general and advanced GI services. Our team includes six physicians and two advanced practitioners. There is opportunity for a faculty appointment. We perform procedures in a state-of-the-art brand new endoscopy suite. Our Gastroenterology Fellowship is a Yale University School of Medicine level II affiliated, three-year program leading to ABIM certification in Gastroenterology. Norwalk is located one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County next to Westchester County in New York.Generous $50,000 sign on bonus/retention package and relocation allowance are offered.

The ideal candidate should be board certified/eligible in Gastroenterology. New or recent graduates, including 2025 candidates are welcome to apply. Advanced endoscopy training is welcome. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as a relocation stipend.

Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the Vermont College of Medicine, Yale University School of Medicine, Ross University School of Medicine and the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Our employed Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

$450,000-$650,000 Annually commensurate with experience and training
