Under the direction of the HRIS Manager, this individual will perform Workday configuration to support over 30,000 team members across the United States and Canada. As part of the Human Resources Department, this position will work closely with business units to help solve pain points and optimize processes in Workday. This team is responsible for the implementation and on-going support of Workday HR/Payroll and related integrations, configurations, and reporting within a continuous delivery cycle. We are looking for an individual with strong technical skills and who demonstrates strength in teamwork, communication, documentation, critical thinking, and creative problem solving.
Responsibilities Include:
· Produce deliverables from assigned projects in two-week iterations.
· Interact with a variety of business units to identify business needs and acceptance criteria.
· Participate in brainstorming sessions and research new features in Workday.
· Attend and contribute to daily stand-up meetings, bi-weekly planning meetings and retros.
· Collaborate with the HRIS Manager and other members of the HRIS team for architectural design, brainstorming and trouble shooting.
· Utilize Workday Community and other resources to research and expand product knowledge.
· Continually evaluate and strive to align with best practices in Workday.
· Thoroughly document all work performed.
· Hold confidentiality and data integrity with the highest regard.
· Detect, define, and debug programs whenever problems are reported or encountered.
· Perform other duties as assigned by HRIS Manager.
Requirements:
· 2+ years of Workday configuration experience.
· Experience in Workday HCM, benefits, compensation, recruiting, time tracking and payroll strongly preferred.
· Ability to work efficiently under shifting project priorities while managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision and varied time constraints.
· A strong interest in technology and its advancement. Must be an effective and tactful communicator; verbal, written and interpersonal.
· Must possess a high level of customer service.
· Must have the ability to work independently or in a team and interact successfully with project staff.
Education/Training:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or applicable work experience.
· Workday certifications a plus.
