Columbus Regional Hospital Director - System Cardiovascular Service Line in Columbus, Indiana

What you need to know about this position:

  • The Director – System Cardiovascular Service Line, under the direction of the VP – Hospital Outpatient and Nursing Services, provides vision, leadership and accountability in developing, driving and deploying strategies, integration and key initiatives across the health system to include Southern Indiana Heart & Vascular, Cath Lab, Cardio-diagnostics, Cardiac Rehab, Wound Center, Vascular Surgery and CVOR & Hybrid OR.

  • This leader will connect and align inpatient, outpatient and specialty care services and will serve as a collaborative resource to primary care/family practice clinics who provide Cardiovascular services.

  • Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The base compensation is one portion of the total rewards package including leader incentive, and a comprehensive benefits program is available.

  • This position is a salaried position and will require you to work primarily Monday through Friday 7am-4pm onsite in Columbus, IN but will require hours outside these times to meet the needs of the departments and our patients.

What the successful candidate will bring to this position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required, a Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration preferred.

  • Experience related to Cardiovascular Services and/or service lines required.

  • EPIC experience.

  • Progressive growth in leadership positions over the past 10 years in a healthcare environment with at least 5 years of leadership experience required.

  • Experience in Administrative services and/or program development preferred.

  • Extensive knowledge pertaining to operational practice management preferred.

  • Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) required.
