St. Luke's Health System Interior Designer in Boise, Idaho

What You Can Expect:

  • The Interior Designer, under general supervision, plans, designs, and furnishes interiors of the organization.

  • Monday-Friday daytime hours

  • Work Location: Boise, ID

  • Formulates design which is practical, aesthetic, and conducive to intended purposes, such as raising productivity, improving workspace and healthcare environment.

  • Confers with client to determine factors affecting planning interior environments, such as budget, architectural preferences, and purpose and function.

  • Selects and coordinates fabrication, installation, and arrangement of carpeting, fixtures, accessories, draperies, paint and wall coverings, art work, furniture, and related items.

  • Renders design ideas in form of paste ups, drawings, or illustrations.

  • Estimates material requirements and costs, and presents design to client for approval.

  • May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group.

  • Handles moderately complex issues using knowledge of procedures and policies. Refers complex issues to higher-level staff.

  • Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in related field

  • Experience: 2 years relevant experience
