Evaluates and provides diagnostic impressions. Formulates treatment plan according to evidence based practices and protocol and addresses patients psychosocial factors. Applies clinical experience, condition specific trainings, and certificationsto contribute to patients improved healthcare outcomes. Conduct individual, family and group therapy sessions as needed. Monitors patients for suicidal/homicidal intent and ensures patient safety if necessary. Undertake crisis intervention, as needed. Maintains client records and performs data entry as required by protocol in treating patients.Serves as a clinical lead and works closely with the LPCs on staff to provide mentorship, support, and consultation as needed. Provides guidance, direction, debriefing, clinical staffing, and support to staff, including care coordinators. Collaborates with leadership to recruit, hire, and train team members. Provides clinical support and monitors progress of a team of therapists. Supports and guides team members in evaluation, diagnoses, and treatment of mental health disorders. Provides support, guidance and review of individualized treatment plans. Meets with team members regularly to provide staffing and clinical support. May help with coverage, staffing, and workflow optimization. Analyzes the professional practice and uses staffing and psychiatric consultation to achieve greater effectiveness in clinical practice. Collaborates with a professional team to identify the long-term psychological needs of patients. In collaboration with the clincial, therapist and care coordination team, reviews assembled information concerning the patient's clinical background and referral needs. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with team members and clients.Serves as a leader in the development and delivery of innovative programs and procedures in psychological services in a multidisciplinary setting. Collaborates with supervisor and colleagues to identifies areas for growth and implement improvement initiatives. and providing leadership in service delivery systems for psychotherapy, including crisis intervention and individual therapyParticipates in the development and implementation of projects, and leading or participating in committees and/or workgroups. Participates in quality improvement and initiatives that analyze professional practice, outcomes and efficiencies, including peer review, chart review, staff education, clinical guideline development, and other continuing education and quality assurance activities to demonstrate compliance with standards, regulations, policies, and procedures.Attends appropriate training workshops, interdisciplinary meetings and client staffing as required. Participate in departmental meetings, continuing education opportunities, academic and research opportunities to optimize patient best practice and interdepartmental collaboration. Participate in clinical supervision and oversight of clinical activities for pre-licensure team members, consistent with applicants own licensure and experience. Other duties as assigned.
